Save The Ocean, Save The Future ~ Vegan Beauty Soup Cooking Demo by Ginnie Lam @ Quill City Mall Kuala Lumpur

In conjunction with a meaningful mission 'Save The Ocean, Save The Future', Hong Kong Beauty Queen Ginnie Lam, Founder of Ginn International, was here in Malaysia at Quill City Mall, Kuala Lumpur, to spread her Ginn's spirit of charity and conservation, that Ginnie worked with her Social Enterprise Partner ~ Blossomly Global, and her Official Online Radio ~ AFORadio.com, to promote awareness on marine life conservation by cooking up a storm with her very own recipe of a Hong Kong-Style Beauty Vegan Soup.

At the event, Ginnie was demonstrating by using various vegetables, including 3 main types of mushrooms, dried bean curb, black fungus (Auricularia or Wood Ear), bamboo shoot and glass noodles, turned into a very delicious yet healthy dish that replaces shark fin soup.

Ginnie, who holds multiple acknowledged credible certifications including in nutrition and slimming with Chinese Medicine, gave some knowledge on different body constitution required different types of herbal and food ingredients to enhance a healthy body and healthy skin.

Besides the delicious beauty vegan soup, Ginnie also demonstrated an easy yet healthy delicious Hong Kong-special herbal tea, just in time for the Spring Festival and Chinese New Year, perfect drinks for whole family or family gathering. The herbal tea also acts to soothe away the heat of tropical climate in Malaysia and which again serves as a wonderful substitute for the Chinese traditional functional food Turtle Jelly Concoction which uses turtle parts in its making.

Apart from the cooking demonstration presented, Ginn International began an initiative to herald and prepare the Influencers of Tomorrow with the KL Pitstop for its Star Brand Influencers Program, right on the heels of its similar workshop in Pyeongchon Korea that was held in partnership with Senior Models Association Korea and Federation of Cultural & Artistic Organizations of Korea. This earlier workshop that served as the prelude for KL Pitstop session was conducted within the professional training rooms of the prestigious SBS Beauty Academy Korea.

The event is also in conjunction to celebrate Ginn International's 1-Year Journey in Malaysia that focuses on making media that matters and nurturing aspiring women of all ages to take up the mantle of entrepreneurs in this new age of online and on-ground convergence.

Spearheaded by Ginnie Lam, who is also Chairwoman of Star Brand Awards International and the United Nations Ambassador for the Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), she has made inroads into Korea and China with an uncommon story of advocating nobility and virtue, notwithstanding her own story of perseverance and sacrifice.

Another marine life protection encouragement act carried out by Ginn International's social enterprise partner Blossomly Global, is The Ocean Hero Conservation Run.

The Ocean Hero Conservation Run will be held at Sunsuria City Celebration Centre, Sepang, on 2nd March 2019. This 5km charity run, themed 'Plastic-free Ocean', aims to educate caring Malaysians on the serious issue of plastic pollution that affects the entire ocean and to protect the sustainable Eco-System and Eco-Tourism, an effort in line with United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) #14 on Life Below Water.

On the day of the run, participating non-governmental organisations will organise mini games and arts & crafts session for participants to learn about the importance of conserving SDG #14 Life Below Water. Other fun activities such as indoor and outdoor children carnival, mini obstacle challenge, celebrities meet-and-greet and food trucks are available on the run day too.

Apart from creating awareness, event management company Blossomly Global has pledged to donate RM5 for each participant registered to selected beneficiaries, such as Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia (TCSM), MareCet, Tak Nak Straw and Sampah Menyampah.
