Exclusively available in Watsons Stores, Demeter Fragrance Library was handcrafted in USA since 1996 by talented perfumer, Christopher Brosius, the single scent brand is now consists of over 300 different fragrances which are inspired by everyday objects and experiences.

Demeter Fragrance Library was launched in Malaysia, at The Other Half Cafe, Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, on 17th December 2018. Present at the event were James Lee, CEO of Demeter Asia Pacific; Thoren Tan, Trading Director of Watsons Malaysia; Danny Hoh, Customer Director of Watsons Malaysia; Jason Park, CEO of Fingertouche (M) Sdn Bhd.

Now everyone can fully express themselves in scent. By using Demeter's Library as our fragrance palette, we can design and blend our own custom scent by combining Demeter Fragrances directly on the skin.

During the media launch event, the media and bloggers were having the chance to create their very own customised scent and learnt the principals of blending fragrances at Demeter Library Perfume 101 Workshop. I felt totally awesome that I could create my very own fragrance, my own unique scent that reflects my happy memory!

Here is the guidance and step-by-step notes on how to create my happy scent with Demeter Fragrance Library.

I named my personalised perfume as 'Charlotte's Garden' ~ my warm happy memory with my mum way back when we spent our happy time with the nature and beautiful flowers planted by my mum in our old house's garden.

My 'Charlotte's Garden' is the Floral Theme with the mixture of Daisy, Lilac and Orange Blossom 🌿

Demeter Fragranec Library's single note scents are the combinations of fewest ingredients that comprise a recognisable smell. Notes have special characteristics, they express their nature immediately and do not change over time.

Master perfumers use notes, also called accords, when making prestige and designer fragrances. They create the familiar top, middle and bottom note dry-down that is associated with how the smell of prestige and designer fragrances change over time.

Demeter Fragrance Library has six classic scents, such as White Musk, Icelandic Aurora, Baby Powder, Sweet Baby, Something and Crystal Rose. Demeter has also introduced four limited edition fragrances known as The City Version for Malaysian. Inspired by Malaysia's cultural diversity, each scent is made and named on the four major cities ~ Penang, Melaka, Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur.
